Memorial Day observances are scheduled on Monday, May 30 in Waupaca, King, and Iola.

Waupaca The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1037 and Auxiliary will open its Memorial Day program with a waterside ceremony at 9 a.m. Monday, May 30, at the VFW Post 1037, located 244 Industrial Drive, Waupaca. People who do not want to stand may bring lawn chairs. Speaker is BJ Elliott Prior, author of “Behind My wings”. The VFW honor guard will fire rifles in honor of those who have fallen in service to their country. Taps will be sounded at the end of the ceremony. After the ceremony an open house will be held in the Post.
King Wisconsin Veterans Home – Services at 10:00 a.m. (tentatively).
Iola-Scandinavia – Military Veterans Tribute Pork Roast – Iola Historical Society event, Noon – 2 PM, presented in association with Sheveland-Taylor American Legion Post 14’s Veterans Memorial Day Park program. Enjoy the Iola Historic Village and Museums.
