Discover Wisconsin Shines a Light on the Best of Waupaca: From the Chain to Main

Later, this episode highlights the Waupaca Area Triathlon, Arts on the Square, and one of the most popular music venues in the county. For over 20 years, Jim Miller has beautifully and artistically carved pumpkins to have on display at his home in the Township of Farmington. Thousands of people visit each year to see the 200 plus pumpkins that are carved and illuminated. The event, which has become a fundraiser for Waupaca County’s “Shop with a Cop” program and food drive for Waupaca’s Area Food Pantry has outgrown the rural setting. The event was moved to the City of Waupaca square, and with great success! Miller and his volunteers excelled with the display and also sharing their techniques with the public in hopes of new volunteers learning this skill.
